The visitors to Mrs. Marlow's room at Marion Elementary School technically arrived on April 7.

But they didn't start to show their faces until May 4 and by May 6, all 11 came out of their shells. It certainly was a thrill for the students to care for and then see the ducks from Blue Tansy Farm in Palmyra make their way into the world.

The students continue to care for the young ducks, which will eventually return to Blue Tansy Farm to join the rest of the flock and enjoy the natural surroundings of the farm's pond.
