It was a clean sweep for our clean kitchens!

Congratulations are in order for the food crew at Marion Central School District, where all three kitchens operated by the district received perfect scores on their recent New York State Department of Health inspections. Richard Card, Food Service Director at Marion, said the inspections are about every aspect of food service operations: food handling, sanitation, proper documentation and facility standards.

“This is a tremendous achievement that reflects the professionalism, attention to detail and daily commitment to providing safe, high-quality meals for our students and staff,” said Card. “To have all three kitchens come through with perfect results is something to be incredibly proud of.” 

Marion operates kitchens at the Elementary School, Junior-Senior High School and the Wayne Education Center in Williamson.
