The Marion girls varsity soccer program honored its lone senior, Amaya Hayes-Cordero, prior to its Oct. 15 home game against Red Creek.
Amaya, who has an injury, was celebrated in a pregame ceremony and – in a nice display of sportsmanship – participated in the opening kickoff before exiting the field to a round of applause.
