PUBLIC NOTICE: District-Wide School Safety Plan Available for Public Comment

Marion Central School District — In compliance with state education laws, the Marion Central School District has developed its proposed 2026-2027 District-Wide School Safety Plan.

The draft plan is now available for public review and comment for a mandatory 30-day period beginning July 26, 2026, and ending on August 25, 2026.

• Submit Feedback: Community members, parents, and staff are encouraged to share their feedback by emailing elloyd@marioncs.org.
• Public Hearing: A formal public hearing will be held during the Board of Education meeting on August 25, 2026, at 5:30 PM in the Marion Jr-Sr High School Library to accept additional in-person comments prior to the board's vote on adoption.
