Valedictorian, Salutatorian For Class Of 2024 Announced

The Marion Central School District is proud to announce the valedictorian and salutatorian of the Class of 2024.

Aidan Miller, son of Jeffery and Nikki Miller, has been named the valedictorian with an overall academic average of 99.54.

In addition to completing his four years of high school with the top average in a class of 54 students, Aidan is an active school citizen. He is a selected member of the National Honor Society. Aidan has been involved in athletics since ninth grade participating in soccer, basketball, and track and field.

Aidan has been recognized academically by being awarded the University of Rochester Xerox Award for Innovation and Information Technology, the Rochester Institute of Technology Computing Award, the Wilkes University Colonel Emerging Leaders Award and the Notre Dame Club of Rochester Junior of the Year Award.

Aidan plans to attend Syracuse University to major in Data Analytics and Finance.

Landon Wertz, son of Jason Wertz and Heather Worthington, has been named the salutatorian by accumulating an overall academic average of 97.49.

Landon is a selected member of the National Honor Society and has been actively involved in athletics since ninth grade participating in soccer, indoor track and field and outdoor track and field.

Landon has been recognized academically by being awarded the University of Rochester Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award, the Alfred University Inamori School of Engineering/Ceramic Association of New York Scholastic Recognition Award, and the Wilkes University Colonel Emerging Leaders Award.

Landon plans to attend St. John FIsher University to major in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
