District Voters Approve Both Budget Propositions

Voters in the Marion Central School District approved the proposed 2024-25 school budget on Tuesday, May 21. The $22,655,955 spending plan passed by a vote of 457-146.

Voters also approved a $694,000 proposal to purchase new school buses by a margin of 460-140.

Incumbent Michele Kuelling received 381 votes and was elected to serve another three-year term on the Board of Education, beginning July 1, 2024. Jennifer Williams received 223 votes.
