Marion FFA President Rebecca VanCamp and Marion FFA adviser Mrs. Lachnor joined representatives from other schools from New York FFA District 8 (Finger Lakes Region) on a week-long trip to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis.

The trip included stops for tours at Niagara Falls, an FFA student-run farm, elk farm and a fish farm. They also completed community service for the Akron (Ohio) Zoo.

While at convention, they got to watch competitions, go on local tours, complete workshops, and attend a concert and rodeo among many other things. They also cheered on local students as they received national recognition for their projects and skills. Nearly 70,000 members from all 50 states and two territories attended the convention.
