The Marion Elementary School Farm Club will be conducting open enrollment for students in grades 3-6 soon.

The Farm Club was started three years ago as a way to educate and connect students at MES with the local agricultural community. Farm Club had 50 members in its first year and is looking to build back up this fall.

Farm Club members learn about the importance of agriculture and participate in Agriculture Literacy Week. The club also plans to create a Farmer Spotlight that will include a map of New York state and Wayne County that shows where food comes from and to take several field trips to local farms.
