Marion Junior-Senior High School will remain closed to in-person learning on Wednesday, February 24, due to the continuation of a major break in a waterline that feeds the building. Wednesday, Feb. 24 will be a remote learning day for all students and staff at MJSHS.
Presently, all athletic and extracurricular activities scheduled at Marion Junior-Senior High School scheduled for Wednesday are also postponed. If, however, water is restored by mid-day, the district may re-evaluate these postponements. Any change in this status would be communicated as soon as possible.
The boys JV and varsity basketball games scheduled at Williamson High School on Wednesday will not be impacted.
Meals for Junior-Senior High students may be picked up between 11 and 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the back entrance of the elementary school. The instructional information previously shared by Mr. Dehn earlier this week will remain the same.
Marion Elementary School will be open for in-person learning on Wednesday as scheduled. Due to no Junior-Senior High students attending in-person instruction, bus pick-up times for elementary students may be later than normal.
