Public Hearing On School Safety Plan Scheduled For Feb. 8
NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Marion Central School District Board of Education will hold a public hearing at its regular meeting at 5:45 p.m. on February 8, 2021, concerning the proposed District-wide school safety plan. Pursuant to Education Law § 2801-a, the public is invited to provide input regarding the development of this plan at the public hearing. The meeting will be held virtually using videoconferencing. Streaming information about the meeting can be found on the District’s website at www.marioncs.org. A copy of the proposed District-Wide School Safety Plan for the 2020-2021 school year is available on the School District’s website: https://www.marioncs.org/site/Default.aspx?PageID=96.
NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that a 30-day public comment period regarding the proposed District-wide school safety plan will be held from February 8, 2021 through March 10, 2021, for purposes of providing input to the Board of Education on the plan. Comments may be submitted in writing to the District Clerk via email at email@example.com or sent to the District Office, 4034 Warner Road, Marion, NY 14505.
