Are You Interested In Becoming A Board Member
There are two vacancies for the Marion Central School District Board of Education.
Each are three-year terms commencing July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2023.
To be a board of education candidate, an individual must be:
- a U.S. Citizen
- at least 18 years of age
- able to read and write
- a district resident for one year prior to the June 9, 2020 election
- not employed by the school district
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BECOMING A CANDIDATE for a seat on the Board of Education:
You must notify Nadine Mitchell, District Clerk and include your name and address by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2020 at nmitchell@marioncs.org
As a result of NYS Executive Order #202.26, petitions bearing signatures of at least 25 residents eligible to vote in the Marion election on June 9, 2020 has been waived for the 2020-21 Election.
