Ribbon Cut on Star Books Cafe

Several sixth grade students volunteered to participate in a project-based learning opportunity lad by Ms. Renee Connor.  They wanted to create a modern learning space designated for the purpose of literacy and research.  The project is aligned with the district’s mission and vision.

On Wednesday, January 18, 2017 the ribbon was cut on the end result of this project in the form of – Star Books Reading Café.  The students’ ideas came to life in an inviting, fun space which includes student artwork, comfortable seating and recommended reading.

Kudos to Ms. Connor and the sixth grade students!
