Purpose:

The council's purpose is to ensure both horizontal and vertical alignment of a quality educational system, including development of curriculum, assessments, instruction and professional development.

Scope of Work:

• Overall governing body for curriculum and professional development
• Plans, implements, monitors and evaluates efforts related to curriculum, assessment, instruction and professional development
• Provides two-way communication with all stakeholders
• Consensus is used to make decisions

Sept. 25, Oct. 23, Nov. 20, Jan. 15, Feb. 26, April 15, and May 20

Meetings are held in the Marion Jr. Sr. High School Bldg. Room 17   3:15- 4:30 P.M. 

Composition:

All administrators, TOSAs and project leaders attend and participate on CIC.  The Learning Standard groups provide input and information to inform our conversation and decision making.  Anyone is welcome to attend the meetings.
