This week, Brandon VanderBrook, a freshman last school year, received two post season honors in Track and Field.  He was named the Daily Messenger’s Runner of the Year and was also the only freshman named to the All Greater Rochester Track and Field Team.  

Last school year Brandon had the distinct honor of being the only freshman at the New York State Track and Field Championships.  He ran the 100 meter dash placing third.  During the regular season he was unbeaten in the 200 and 100 meters becoming Section V Champion in both.
